Blu-ray S Orama Six Feet Un Watch Online Subtitles Rip 720p

Some films are so good that when it comes time to watch them for the umpteenth time, you could easily do so in a language you never learned. Manorama Six Feet Under is one such movie. This movie, directed by Helen Leung, tells the story of three generations of women in HK and tackles issues like domestic abuse and racial discrimination. It has all the ingredients that make for a great film: emotionally gripping plot, strong female leads with difficult life experiences, and insightful dialogue. The female leads are played by some of the best actresses in Hong Kong cinema today, including some women who have made a name for themselves in Hollywood. All three of these actresses, Maggie Cheung Tai-On, Shirley Yeung Suet-Jing, and Michelle Yim Siu-Ping, have some amazing films under their belt. I can't believe I had to wait till 2007 for this movie to be released on DVD! What accounts for the long delay? It's director Helen Leung. I'm not sure if she decided not to make it available herself or if she was caught up in some film festival drama... Whatever the case, this movie deserves to be released on DVD. I'd like to learn more about her but visiting HK is out of the question. If anyone is in the know, I'd appreciate an email or a comment on why this is such a rare film! The film was made in 2005 and is about three generations of women from the same family living in Hong Kong. Tai On (played by Maggie Cheung), is a traditional Chinese woman who has been widowed for 10 years. Her husband, To Chi-Fai (played by Lau Ching Wan) recently passed away. The grief still fresh within her, Tai On continues to care for her late husband's family by cooking meals for them and looking after his sickly brother. She is visited, however, by her son (played by Raymond Wong) and his wife (played by Shirley Yeung). The couple cannot understand why Tai On is so reluctant to join them for a meal and stay awake late at night while they talk. Shirley Yeung plays Chun-fai, the daughter of Tai On's deceased husband and a housewife who has not been able to find a job. She and her husband Chin-chi ( played by Michelle Yim Siu-Ping ), who is infertile, have been stuck in an unhappy marriage for years. cfa1e77820
